History
Hella was founded in 1899 by Sally Windmüller in Lippstadt. Originally started as a manufacturer of carbide lamps, the company became a pioneer in vehicle lighting. Today Hella is part of the Forvia group and employs over 36,000 people.

Hella operates 125 locations in 40 countries. Production plants are located in Germany, Czech Republic, Mexico, USA, China and India. All products are certified to IATF 16949.
