History
NGK was founded in 1936 in Nagoya, Japan. The company quickly became the leading manufacturer of ceramic products for the automotive industry. Today NGK operates under the name NGK Insulators and is present in over 30 countries.

NGK produces in Japan, Germany, France, Poland, USA, Brazil and China. Spark plugs are manufactured in fully automated high-precision facilities and 100% tested.

Quality & Certification
NGK spark plugs are manufactured from special ceramics and precious metal alloys. Every spark plug undergoes a 100% pressure test and a high-voltage test. Lambda sensors are functionally tested at operating temperature. NGK is certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
