Step-by-Step Process
Order & Confirmation
After receiving your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Goods Value Check
We check whether the goods value exceeds the €1,000 threshold and initiate the appropriate process.
Electronic Export Declaration (ATLAS)
For goods value or weight above the threshold: mandatory declaration via the ATLAS system of German customs.
Customs Declaration & Inspection
Customs inspects the shipment. This process usually takes 2–3 business days.
Receipt of Customs Documents
After the inspection is complete, we receive the full customs documents including HS code and tariff number.
Export Accompanying Document
We create the Export Accompanying Document (EAD) with all required information.
Shipment
Goods are only shipped after receipt of all complete customs documents.

We only ship after the complete customs inspection has been concluded. This protects our customers and ensures compliance with all legal requirements.
Shipping Costs & Volumetric Weight
Shipping costs are based on the size of the package, not the actual weight. The higher of the two weights applies.

HS Codes & Customs Tariff Numbers
Every product in our shop is assigned an HS code (Harmonized System). This number is mandatory for customs declaration and is stated on all shipping documents.
ATLAS — Electronic Export Declaration
ATLAS (Automated Tariff and Local Customs Processing System) is the official system of German customs. Declaration is mandatory for goods value over €1,000 or weight above the legal threshold.
All customs documents are prepared by us and sent with the shipment.
